One inbox, read by the people who build the app. Write to us about anything — a scan that misbehaved, your membership, your account, or a listing that shouldn’t be there.

Common questions

The four things people write in about most. If yours isn’t here, email us — a real person reads it.

A scan found nothing

Usually that means the vehicle simply isn't listed. KenScan matches plates against listings sellers have published here — it has no access to any vehicle registry, so a car whose owner hasn't listed it will never return a match. You'll be shown similar vehicles that are for sale instead.

A plate was read wrong

Lighting, angle, glare and plate condition all affect the reading, which is why each result carries a confidence score. Retake the photo straight-on if you can, or type the plate in by hand — manual entry searches exactly the same listings.

Cancelling your membership

Your membership is billed by Apple or Google, so it has to be cancelled there: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions. We cannot cancel or refund it for you. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends.

Deleting your account

Open KenScan and delete your account from your profile settings — no email needed. It removes your profile and listings and starts deletion of your personal data, and there's a short window in which you can recover it if you change your mind. It does not cancel your subscription; do that separately in the store.

Reporting a fraudulent or spam listing

Email us the licence plate or a link to the listing and what looks wrong. Listings go live without prior review, so reports are how we find the bad ones — we investigate every one and remove anything that breaches our Terms.
